Summer Camp

We are thrilled for the upcoming summer months and hope you plan to join the Saint Joseph family for a great summer experience. Campers will take part in field trips, water play, music, arts and crafts, games, exercise and sports, and imaginative play. Camp activities are carefully organized according to age group and led by caring and responsible camp counselors. Each camper will have fun experiencing new challenges every day.

Payment

Summer camp will be billed via FACTS, the same system we use to handle tuition payments. You will receive an invoice via FACTS one month before each camp is scheduled to begin. Payment is due in full for each week by the Friday of the week before your camp begins. If you wish to pay by check, you must pay in full before dropping off on Monday. Make checks payable to St. Joseph Catholic School and put your camper’s name and week on your check. Processing payments via FACTS will allow you to print payment summaries for year-end tax purposes.

Refunds

Should you need to cancel attendance at one of our camps, you will receive a full refund, less the $35 deposit. Once a camp begins, no refunds will be issued. In the event a camp is ever cancelled by the school, all money will be refunded, including the deposit.

Snacks/Food

Morning and afternoon snacks are provided, but students should bring their own lunch and water bottle each day.

Camp Conduct

Appropriate conduct is required of all of our participants; therefore, all campers are expected to behave responsibly and with respect for others and for the program in general.  Specific rules and procedures will be reviewed with each participant at the start of each camp week.  Saint Joseph reserves the right to dismiss any participant at any time.

Pictures

Pictures of your child may be taken during camp. Please note that Saint Joseph Catholic School reserves the right to use these pictures in print and/or electronic media outlets. Parents who do not wish to have their child’s photograph or words used in school marketing or publications must provide written notice to the Summer Camp office.

Weekly Activities

Each week, we will have a variety of activities. Arts and crafts, movies, games, field trips, ice cream sundaes, snow cones, and water play, are just some of our activities. Each Monday, we will have arts and crafts, games, and free play. Each Tuesday, we will watch a different Disney movie on the big screen. We will have popcorn and movie snacks to make it truly feel like a day at the movies! Each Wednesday, we will be alternating between Fit Kids and Art Class. Each Thursday will be a fun and exciting field trip! All field trips are included in the cost of summer camp, so students will not need to bring additional money. The field trip calendar will be released closer to the beginning of camp. We will end each week with ice cream sundaes and water play on Friday, weather permitting. Also, this summer, we are excited to add Fit Kids, led by school nurse, Jessica Eadon, as well Art Classes, led by Katie Pfrommer. Mrs. Pfrommer is an art teacher at Dreher high school, as well as a parent of a St. Joseph student.
