Bel Canto

Bel Canto is open to children in grades third through sixth. This choir practices weekly on Tuesdays from 3:15 - 4:30 p.m. in the St. Joseph School music room under the direction of Ms. Cynthia Fruth. Snacks will be provided for the choristers after school. The children sing a few times per semester at the 12:15 PM Sunday Holy Mass September through May, and at 4 PM Christmas Eve Mass.

 

Choristers must audition with Ms. Cynthia Fruth to demonstrate the ability to match pitch.

 

Choristers are encouraged to take 20-minute private voice lessons once a week with a St. Joseph choral scholar. The cost for lessons is $400 per school year. There is no cost to join the choir.
