Community Service Projects

Each year, the students at Saint Joseph Catholic School participate in four quarterly service-projects. Many opportunities for service come to the attention of the principal and guidance counselor each year and after much deliberation a schedule for the year is determined. In each of the four quarters students participate in fundraising and service drives that benefit community and national service agencies.

Past St. Joseph Catholic School Service projects:

  1. Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child—preparing shoeboxes of small gifts and toiletries for children in poverty stricken countries
  2. Collecting money to send a WWII Veteran on the Honor Flight to visit the WWII memorial in Washington, D.C.
  3. Preparing necessary items to be used for patient gift bags for Palmetto-Richland Hospital.
  4. Canned food drives to support our own Saint Vincent DePaul Food Pantry
