For more than twenty years,
Saint Joseph Catholic School has had an active chess club made up of boys and girls from second through sixth grades. Students sign-up at the beginning of the school year (the membership is limited to sixteen members), and the club meets on Monday afternoons.
Chess Club Meetings
At club meetings, students learn fundamentals and advanced techniques in chess, and play in tournaments designed by the moderator of the club. The Saint Joseph Saints Chess Club is a lot of fun for all who participate! The first Chess Club meeting for the 2011-12 school year will be
September 12, 2011. We will meet in the Science Lab. Please contact Mrs. Tindall (
